I have had the blessing to be Tyler’s big sister for all of his 32 years and have always known he was meant for someone special. When we met Rachel, we knew she was his something special. Their relationship has something rare that is difficult to define-that everyone longs for. From the moment they met, their life has been an adventure.
The day started off drizzly and I was worried that we may end up rained out. In true Tyler and Rachel fashion, they made the best of it and it ended up being the perfect evening! Tyler has that way of making Rachel smile and when she does, her adoration is evident.
Because of the rain, the light that evening was soft and lovely.
Love these rolling Kansas hills.
Tyler, if I could share anything with you, it would be this- “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
